Pazhassiraja College was started in 1982 at Pulpally, a beautiful town in Wayanad District
surrounded by forests with the mission to serve the community to get uplifted through education
and training. The very purpose of education is to improve the quality of life and thereby
achieve progress and development to the whole society. Realising this purpose, the college
initiated several humble steps right from its inception and continuously rendering unstinting
services not only to the people across Kerala but also to the people belonging to other states.
Though situated in a remote region, this college offers a range of UnderGraduate and PostGraduate Programmes; most of them are specialised programmes which draw attention of knowledge
seekers from far and wide. It is worth to note that, our college is pioneer in starting unique
programmes, like Travel and Tourism, in Kerala.
The college is committed to impart quality education to students in order to become professionals and to enable them to be good human beings. Evolved over the last three decades or so, the college has become one of the leading Higher Educational Institutions in the state. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the extreme hard work of our dedicated staff and faculty by working round the clock to keep our college at the zenith of success. Our alumni have been placed all over the world in various positions and their love and commitment towards the college always inspire us to work better.
