The Department of English, Pazhassiraja College, organized a One-Day National Seminar on "Environmental Humanities & Climate Fiction" to explore the intersections of literature, ecology, and climate change. IKS in Practice: Kalaripayattu for Self-Defence & Empowerment is an initiative by the Department of English and the Women Support Cell to promote Indian Knowledge Systems through experiential learning. Led by KC Kuttikrishnan Gurukkal, the session introduces participants to the principles and techniques of Kalaripayattu, emphasizing self-defence, confidence, and physical well-being. The programme encourages empowerment while fostering an appreciation of India's rich martial arts heritage.
Ink & Honour is a book exhibition organized by the Department of English, Pazhassiraja College, Pulpally, as part of the Reading Week celebrations. The exhibition showcases Booker Prize-winning works of the 21st century, encouraging students to explore contemporary world literature. The event was inaugurated by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Joseph Mar Thomas, Manager and Patron of the college, on 25 June 2025.
