The national level two days workshop on statistical software for research was effective in all respect for the institution, faculty, students and thus to the field of research. Proficiency in the use of statistical packages is a very essential skill required for every researcher. The workshop is designed to equip the participants to effectively use various statistical tests using statistical package in their areas of research. Various software such as Megastat and SPSS have been discussed and practiced during these days helped the post graduate students, research scholars and the budding faculties in gaining an in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge in data analysis. The talks were conducted by the eminent personalities Dr. Thomas Monoth, Dr. Biju K, Prof. Rajesh P, Prof. Nagarajan and Prof. Biju Abraham.
